It’s already an action-packed summer in Louisville — but mark your calendars for the newest event on Derby City’s summer slate.

The Butchertown Business Alliance is hosting the First Annual Butcher Block Party at Copper & Kings (1121 E. Washington St.) on Saturday, June 29 from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. Here’s what to expect:

  • Businesses from the Butchertown area — all located within the 40206 zip code — will take over the Copper & Kings beer garden.
  • There will be 30+ vendors offering food, drink, goods and services for purchase.
  • A live musician + DJ will pump tunes, and outdoor games will be available.
  • All proceeds will go directly to Butchertown’s Family Community Clinic.

The party will be free and open to the public.
