The annual parade and festival is happening this weekend.

Since 2000, the Kentuckiana Pride Foundation has taken to the streets every June to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community during its annual pride festival and parade.

This year’s Kentuckiana Pride Parade & Festival is set to take place at the Big Four Bridge on Saturday, June 17 from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. Here’s what you need to know ahead of the big day.

Hotel Genevieve Pride Brunch

Start the day with a pre-parade brunch at this NuLu hotel’s restaurant, Rosettes.

  • Special guests: Leah Halston + Gilda Wabbit
  • Drink: $5 mimosas and bloody marys

Pride parade

The Kentuckiana Pride Parade serves as the kick off to the festival.

  • Cost: Free
  • Route: Starts at 12 p.m. in NuLu at the intersection of Campbell and Market Streets, goes down Preston Street, and ends at the Big Four Lawn

The festival

More than 20,000 people are estimated to attend this celebration, which features a vendor marketplace, drag shows, concerts + food and drinks.

  • Cost: $10 for GA + $125 for VIP
