This week, I went to the Speed Cinema for Buster Keaton’s “Sherlock Jr.” scored with music from R.E.M. I’m not sure how well the two actually go together, but there are worse ways to spend an evening than watching a silent music and listening to “New Adventures in Hi-Fi.”
The next project from Silents Synced is another Keaton film scored to music by They Might Be Giants, and if it comes to the Speed Cinema, I’ll be seated in the front row.
