Spring is here, and that means brunch season. With help from our readers, we’ve compiled a whole bunch of options, from dedicated brunch restaurants to all-hours restaurants with mid-morning specials. Plan your weekend and pour those mimosas. Note: All times listed are brunch-only. The House of Marigold | Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. + Saturday-Sunday 9 a.m.-4 p.m. | Order Southern-inspired plates — like build-you-own deviled eggs and breakfast biscuits — in this Instagram-worthy restaurant.
Foko | Tuesday-Sunday, 7:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. | Get a burrito, biscuits and gravy, or a classic breakfast sandwich — City Editor Declan recommends the chilakiles. On your way out, grab a dozen pastries to take home from La Pana.
Sarino | Saturday-Sunday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. | This Italian restaurant’s brunch selections include salads (add chicken, anchovies, salmon, or shrimp for a protein bump), frittatas, pizzas, and waffles.
The Waterfront Botanical Gardens has hired its first bonsai curator. Angelica Ramirez brings years in Chicago, Washington, DC, and Epcott to help facilitate the Gardens’ new bonsai collection.
