Louisvillians have a lot to look forward to this year, especially when it comes to concerts and art exhibits. Here’s just a few we’re looking forward to:

Bob Dylan: Rough and Rowdy Ways Tour | Monday, April 6
Mr. Zimmerman will take to the Louisville Palace stage this spring on his latest tour. Tickets start at ~$100. Pro tip: This will be a phone-free show, so don’t expect to snag any pics.

Tori Amos: In Times of Dragons Tour | Monday, Aug. 10
Presale tickets are available now for this singer songwriter’s visit to Derby City. “In Times of Dragons,” released last year, is her 18th studio album.

Abstract Expressionists: The Women | Saturday, May 16-Sunday, Aug. 30
Move over Jackson Pollock — this summer, the Speed Art Museum will host an exhibit of art by the women of the abstract art movement. Expect to see pieces from throughout the latter half of the 20th century.

The Wrap

I moved to Louisville from Minnesota, so I’m no stranger to snow. But in all my time living here, I’ve never owned a proper snow shovel. That changed this week: with the impending blizzard, I finally bought one. If you’re like me and have been putting it off, consider this your final reminder before we potentially get snowed in. I got mine at Westenhofer Hardware.
