Like a goat charging at full speed down Nanny Goat Strut, March will be here before we know it. And that means the return of an annual Louisville favorite: Bock Fest.
This year’s festivities will occur on Saturday, March 28 from 12 to 6 p.m. Goats will be featured at a number of other events leading up to Bock Fest, including a Baby Goat Pre-Party on Saturday, Feb. 21 at Whiskey Thief Distilling Co. and at Tailspin Ale Festival on Saturday, March 7.
Mid City Mall will be demolished by the end of the year, according to the current plans for the site’s redevelopment into Mid City Market. Stay tuned for more opportunities for public engagement. (Louisville Business First)
Holiday
If you’re not feeling particularly loving this Valentine’s Day, consider making a donation to the Louisville Nature Center. In return, they’ll name a cockroach after your ex — then feed it to Francis the yellow-bellied slider. For $20, you get to name a roach. For $30, you can watch it get devoured. (WHAS11)
