MeeshMeesh has landed some more national acclaim. The NuLu Mediterranean restaurant was named No. 26 on Yelp’s top 100 restaurants in the US. Head chef Noam Bilitzer has been nominated for a James Beard Award again this year.
GE has announced a plan to bring a new water filter manufacturing operation to Louisville, creating about 30 new jobs. (Courier Journal)

TARC has approved a move to sell the Nia Center to the West End Dream Team. The community group started pursuing the site in July after plans were announced to sell it to Goodwill. (Courier Journal)
Transit
Breeze Airlines is planning three new direct flights to SDF. Derby City travelers can catch a ride to Hartford, CT, Pittsburgh, PA, and Los Angeles, CA. The new flights will begin in May. (WHAS11)
