Earlier this month, we asked you what questions you have about Louisville that we might be able to help answer. Reader Keith L. asked "[Who is the] owner of the vacant lot at 2nd and Main Street at the corner (across from Boiler House). Such a key piece...why empty?”
Luckily for you, Keith, Louisville’s parcel viewer lets us take a direct look at who owns which properties. The parking lot at the corner of North 2nd Street and West Main is mostly owned by Burkwell K. Marshall III, the same owner as the building containing Merle’s Whiskey Kitchen. But a small slice of the parking lot is owned by DL Market Street LLC.
If you’re every curious about who owns a piece of property, or where exact propery lines are drawn, check out our guide to using the parcel viewer.
