Halloween week is almost here, and that means it’s time to start scouting. Whether you’re a parent looking for the best place to take your kiddos on the big night or you want to make sure your neighborhood gets the attention it deserves, we’ve got you covered.
You can submit Halloween events — think trunk or treat, well-stocked neighborhoods, costume contests, etc — to our Halloween map. Next week, we’ll share the fully-stocked map so you can plan your night properly.
A public comment period is open for a number of LMPD policies, including performance review boards and use of force. Whenever the department revises a policy, it publishes a summary of the changes and opens a 10-day public comment period, which ends on Monday, Nov. 3.
