Traffic

Heads up, commuters. Crews are installing the first automated speed enforcement devices in work zones on Kentucky highways, with more on the way throughout the fall. Check the upcoming installation locations to see if your drive is affected. (WHAS 11)

History

A local artist discovered his studio in Germantown was built atop a former city dump dating back to the post-Civil War era. Closed

After more than two decades on Bardstown Road, local boutique Dot Fox has permanently closed. Owner Sally Bird took to Instagram to announce the closure, stating she’s stepping away to “do things that will fulfill my spirit in new ways.”

A four-story building on South Fifth Street in downtown Louisville is heading to auction. Previously listed at $6.35 million, the property built in 1878 will sell to the highest bidder at or above $750,000. Online bidding opens at 9 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 3. (Louisville Business First)

LouCity will be sporting pink jerseys during Saturday’s match against the Indy Eleven in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Fans can purchase the team’s special-edition kits at the club store and join in a “Unity Moment” recognizing those impacted by breast cancer. Grab tickets.
