Crews wrapped up construction on hospital curve earlier than expected, repairing bridge joints + installing a high-friction surface between the Kennedy Bridge and the Witherspoon Street overpass intended to prevent further accidents, especially from semi-trucks losing traction in the rain. Several lanes on the bridge are closed for other maintenance. (WHAS)

Louisville has hit the big time. The NuLu Bock Fest goat race reruns will be broadcast on ESPN this weekend as part of The Ocho, a showcase of unusual sports.
