Get your bologna sandwiches and broomsticks ready, Louisville — Dainty is almost here. The annual Dainty Fest will return to Schnitzelburg this weekend. Here’s a quick play-by-play of what each day has to offer:

Metro Council has approved $250,000 in funding for the Portland Museum’s AHOY expansion, which has already broken ground. The investment, along with other community partnerships, has the project on a timeline for exhibit installation by next fall.

Highland Fish Market is back... in the Highlands, that is. The Middletown seafood market is returning to its original neighborhood with a second location on Bardstown Road. For now, you can stop by in-person or place an order by phone — online orders are coming soon.

Corridor Bar in NuLu is now closed, citing difficulties with the ongoing NuLu streetscape + recent street takeovers. The owners of High Horse and Jimmy Can’t Dance have plans to take over the space, with a timeline TBD. (Louisville Business First)

Speaking of NuLu... The NuLu Business Association is launching a new event series called NuLu Nights. Expect to see live music, extended business hours, and food specials on select evenings this year. The first will be this Friday, July 25.
