West Nile Virus has been detected in mosquitos in Louisville. The Tyler Park neighborhood will be fogged for mosquitos using a low-toxicity pesticide called Zenivex between Patterson Avenue, Deer Park Avenue, Barrett Avenue, and the ~three blocks north of Bardstown Road. (WHAS11)

A 78-year-old athlete is representing Louisville in Des Moines, IA this month in the 2025 National Senior Games. Jim Hutchinson will be running 200M and 400M sprints in his fourth time competing at the event. (Courier Journal)

LFPL has new sensory kits available for use in the library and to take home. The in-library kits have noise-canceling headphones, sunglasses, and fidget toys, while the take-home kits are themed around topics like animals, music, and S.T.E.A.M + feature toys and books. Each family can check out two kits at a time.
Correction
Yesterday, we told you about the Frazier Summer Beer Fest, coming Saturday, July 26. We said the General Admission tickets started at $10 — oops. The $10 tickets are for designated drivers, which means no beer. If you want GA tickets to sample the craft beers + ciders, those start at $50.
