The current owners Jim and Ginger Welch acquired the property in 2011, and since then have made significant renovations. They put on a new roof in 2014, remodeled the kitchen in 2015, and repainted the interior in 2017.
The main floor has a sunken living room with 30 ft ceilings, with adjoining primary suite with a Jacuzzi tub and two walk-in closets.
Head up the main staircase to the loft overlooking the main floor, with three more bedrooms, plus skylights and storage. Then head downstairs for the final two bedrooms, a game room, and walk-out backyard access.

ICYMI, Spirit Airlines is adding three brand-new nonstop routes from Louisville, giving Louisvillians even more low-cost travel options. Mark your calendars for:
May 1 | Fly nonstop flights are starting to Newark (EWR) — your gateway to the New York City area.
May 8 | Spirit launches service to Dallas (DFW).
May 9 | Head to Atlanta (ATL) on a nonstop flight.
Each route will operate twice a week, making it even easier (and more affordable) to plan your next getaway.

“A Minecraft Movie” took theaters by storm this month, but did you know LOU has been recreated inside the video game more than once?
Back in 2022, Louisvillian Cody Yates rebuilt the KFC Yum! Center inside Minecraft, and YouTube user Jaxon Builds built Churchill Downs a decade ago. Finally, a 2016 project at Bernheim Forest recreated some of the arboretum’s most iconic art installations inside the virtual world.
