Since Saturday, Louisville has accumulated ~3.6 inches of precipitation.
The weekend downpours caused flash floods that swallowed several cars in Cherokee Park and along Breckenridge Lane. The flood conditions also caused a surface washout at Mitchell Hill, near top Hill Road in Fairdale.

A Flood Warning is still in effect until 4:30 p.m. today.
The Ohio River reached a Flood Stage 23 ft, a minor category of flooding where some sections of River Road are closed + right turns onto River Road from the I-64 ramp are prohibited.

The National Weather Service issued a Winter Storm Watch for 14 Kentucky counties, including Jefferson, and several Indiana counties. The watch will be in effect tomorrow evening until Wednesday, Feb. 19 at 7 p.m. (WHAS11)

Ensō is back — almost. The Japanese-Southern fusion restaurant sustained a fire late last year and has been closed since. In an interview with Louisville Business First, Chef + Owner Lawrence Weeks said he hopes to have the place open by mid-March or April.

Watch some Oscar bait in a flash. The Speed Cinema is hosting screenings of this year’s Oscar-nominated short films now through Sunday, March 2. Each screening features either the animated, live action, or documentary nominees. Tickets are $12.

The US tour of the musical “Moulin Rouge” is making Derby City its home Tuesday, Feb. 18 and through Sunday, March 2. Tickets are available now, but there’s another way to celebrate the spirit of the jukebox musical in town thanks to Wiltshire Pantry.
The downtown Wiltshire location is hosting four specialty tea events, timed to coincide with the matinee “Moulin Rouge” performances at Whitney Hall. Here are the available slots:
