Just over 15% of Louisvillians work remotely, according to data from the 2020 census — that’s something we know a thing or two about at LOUtoday.

Sometimes, though, you need that water cooler chat + camaraderie that comes in an office setting. We’ve worked out a list of coworking spaces in Louisville:

The Bakery

Located at 901 S. 15th St. in the West End’s California neighborhood, this 6,000-sqft space is part of a mixed-use development that will eventually include a public market + rooftop event venue. Options start at $25 per month.

The Colab

A female-focused work space, The Colab (739 E. Oak St.) offers a supervised child play area that members can use for up to three hours per day.

Prospace

Whether you need a professional address to handle your work-related packages or a private office to call your own, Prospace (710 Barret Ave.) has options, starting at $95 per month. Your co-workers here can’t help falling in love with the space.

The Presley Post

Need a spot to host clients in downtown? This Museum Row location (734 W. Main St., Ste. 106) has six membership options, starting at $75 per month.

Regus

With five locations across Derby City, Regus likely has the kind of space you’re looking for — and if you just need to get out of the house, day rates start at $89.

Story Louisville

Located in the NuLu neighborhood at 828 E. Market St., Story offers co-working spaces and private offices starting at $299 per month. Pro tip: Make use of the sound-proof phone booths, in case you have that meeting scheduled today.

Urban Bird and Company

Perched in the Mellwood Art Center at 1816 Mellwood Ave., No. 117, this dog-friendly space offers 24/7 access + doubles as a gallery — that ought to make your breaks a little more interesting.

31e

Named after Bardstown Road’s US Highway designation, this space is located in the former Edenside Christian Church property at 1415 Bardstown Rd. Talk about work views.

From the editor
Are you still recovering from Kentucky Derby weekend? We don’t have very long to recharge, LOU — the PGA Championship starts next week at Valhalla.

Louisvillian Justin Thomas, whose Hometown Hero banner was unveiled yesterday, might be one of the betting favorites in the tournament. The 31-year-old has already won it twice in his career.
