Drum roll, please. Louisville City FC will make its network TV debut next Saturday, April 6 at 4 p.m. during a rivalry match against Indy Eleven.

The home game, happening at Lynn Family Stadium, will air on CBS. This marks the first time any USL Championship league game has been on network TV, so let’s fill the stadium with purple.

“This is a wonderful opportunity for us to show the support behind pro soccer in Louisville,” LouCity President James O’Connor said.

To add even more excitement to this momentous event, the game’s theme revolves around another milestone: 150 years of the Kentucky Derby. Representatives from the historic Churchill Downs will be on site to host various activities celebrating the Run for the Roses. Pro tip: Wear your finest Derby ‘fits and you might be featured on the video board.

Psst... The club is offering our readers discounted tickets to the game.
