Flower bouquets are a common Mother’s Day present, but if you want to give mom something long-lasting — aside from your love — we have a few ideas. Hit up these local businesses for a fun twist on this year’s gift.

Bloomed Roots, 746 E. Market St.

If you insist on going the bouquet route, consider everlasting florals from Bloomed Roots. The dried and preserved florals start at just $15 and come as standalone bouquets, in vases, as wreaths, or as ornaments. And if you can’t make it into the store, you can order online and have it delivered.
