How to celebrate National Beer Day in LOU

National Beer Day is always on April 7, and this year, it happens to fall on a Friday so you can start your weekend with an after-work brew.
Here are a few ways to honor the drinkable holiday locally:
Try Atrium Brewing’s new Wild Wild Midwest brew. The hop-forward American Wheat Beer drops today at both the Logan Street and Norton Commons locations.
Sip on some of TEN20 Craft Brewery’s 1834 American Lager— it’s being released in four-pack cans at both the Butchertown and Anchorage taprooms today.
Get an early start to your Saturday morning with a key lime sour at Gallant Fox. The Clifton brewery is opening at 11 a.m. to accommodate the Frankfort Avenue Easter Parade.
Head to Gravely Brewing tomorrow night for its Record High’s 80’s Era Edition event at 10 p.m. Dress for the theme and avoid a $5 cover charge.
Shoutout to my best friend. I’m so happy for you and Mark and look forward to your wedding this summer! — Andrea H.

I like beer, but I love desserts more. After celebrating National Beer Day today (and let’s be honest — all weekend), I might pop over to Hi-Wire Brewing in the Highlands on Monday. There’s going to be a Girl Scout Cookie beer pairing event, which sounds like my kind of party.
