Nic & Norman’s will be located on Whiskey Alley (the block behind Whiskey Row) at 108 W. Washington St. It’s co-owned by “The Walking Dead” producer and special effect makeup artist Greg Nictotero, which is how the restaurant got its name.
Another partner in the project is Kentucky author Robert Kirkman, who wrote the graphic novels the TV series is based on.
While the connections to the show seem endless, Nic & Norman’s is not themed around it nor does it have anything to do with zombies. Its menu features American fare like gourmet burgers, meatloaf, flatbreads, and brisket mac and cheese + will be open for brunch, lunch, and dinner.
It will be the fourth location for the concept, which has three other spots in Senoia, GA, Chattanooga, TN, and Lexington, KY.

From the Editor
I’m a big fan of “The Walking Dead.” So when I heard that Nic & Norman’s was coming to LOU, I immediately texted my stepson, who is now on season two, to confirm we would be one of its first customers.
I will 100% be ordering the Reedus Ruffian cocktail made with Four Roses bourbon, OJ, pimento dram, bitters, and a Luxardo cherry.
