A new tasting room in Norton Commons is getting personal — the personal chef experience that is.
The Heirloom Chef’s Table, which hosted an open house on Oct. 21 at 9448 Norton Commons Blvd., is a reservation-only dining experience that accommodates up to six people. The 350-sqft tasting room is booked out with dinners until Dec. 18 for Executive Chef Ryan Smith’s “Fall in Kentucky” dining series, but you can check for cancellations or be added to the waitlist here.
Chef Ryan’s six-course meals are made and served in front of diners as part of the intimate experience. He designs his menus seasonally + includes locally-sourced ingredients. The current menu costs diners $125, with an optional wine pairing for $55.
The restaurant is a new venture for United Catering and fell into place naturally as owner Michael Nusbaum pivoted to focus on wedding catering using the tasting studio. After hosting dinners in the space for a few weeks to test out the concept, he had people calling + texting non-stop trying to get a taste.
Stay hungry. Chef Ryan’s winter menu will debut on Dec. 17 + reservations will be open again, while they last.
