Today is National Margarita Day but Galaxie Bar in NuLu is celebrating all week long.

Live large with margs and enjoy $6 margaritas during happy hour from 4-6 p.m. through Saturday, Feb. 25.

In addition to the classic Galaxie marg and frozen options like mango habanero, Galaxie is rolling out these five new flavors:
  • grilled pineapple mezcal
  • strawberry lemongrass
  • blueberries and cream
  • carrot ginger
  • passionfruit
Margaritas go great with food, so be sure to try the new “Vader Fries” — loaded French fries in five varieties. Good things must come in fives.
THE WRAP

Today’s issue was written by Lennie.

Editor’s pick: This week I attended Porcini’s 30th anniversary grazie celebration. Not only has the eatery been around for three decades, but chef John Plymale has been whipping up its Italian fare since day one. Now, excuse me while I enjoy my Gnocchi Con Salsiccia. Salute. 🍾
