Your guide to the Tailspin Ale Fest
Oh, we get it. It’s called “Tailspin” because of the planes at Bowman Field. | Photo by Tony Bennett courtesy of Tailspin Fest
What do you get when you mix 250 beers? Pair it with live music and you’ve got the Tailspin Ale Fest on Saturday, March 4.
About the fest
The annual beer festival is in its 10th year and showcases regional and local breweries — like Against the Grain, Monnik, and Mile Wide to drink name a few. For an idea of the full offerings, check out last year’s list.
Attendees can also groove to live music by Tony and the Tan Lines this year. Just save some of your dance movies for the silent disco.
And that’s not all, folks. Check out the cigar bar — where you can sample brews that complement tobacco and shop for cigars — plus give your friends FOMO by snapping a photo with Chris Joyce Photography and Lain Studios.
Tickets
The festival will be held at the historic Bowman Field on Saturday, March 4 from 3-7 p.m.
VIP tickets are already sold out, but general admission tickets are $55 and include a souvenir taster cup.
Getting there
We recommend you get on the bus, Gus and take the shuttle for $15 — which gets you special entry, a featured pint, and a snack.
Or you can elect to be a designated driver for $15 and park on the grass lot in front of the driver’s license branch. Just be sure to pick up your car by 1 p.m. on Sunday.
