‘Tis the season to get into the holiday spirit(s) — and there are some gifts you just can’t wrap, including these four pop-up bars happening around town through December.

Disco Blizzard
Lucky Penny at Hotel Genevieve, 730 E. Market St.

Reservations are required to spin into a glittery world of snowy disco fever with groovy playlists, shimmering lights, and themed cocktails like Nutcracker Old Fashioned that comes with a walnut ice sphere.

Open: Thursday-Saturday at 5 p.m. through Monday Jan. 1

LOUtoday_Disco Blizzard

The Nutcracker Old Fashioned at the Disco Blizzard pop-up is also served in a two-tier glass so that you can pour the drink over the ice yourself.

Miracle on Market
Galaxie, 732 E. Market St.

This national Christmas pop-up has been decking the halls inside NuLu’s Green Building for nearly a decade. With wrapping paper walls, kitschy holiday decor + over-the-top glassware, this bar will have you gin-gling all the way to the NuLu North Pole. New drinks this year include Marshmallows & Unicorns, an egg white gin cocktail served in a ceramic unicorn.

Open: Daily at 4 p.m. through Sunday, Dec. 31

A Christmas on Story Avenue
The Whirling Tiger, 1335 Story Ave.

This Butchertown bar and music venue triple dog dares you to visit the land of fishnet lamps and Red Ryder bb guns. Try Ovaltine for adults via the frozen Ovaltini made with espresso + coffee liqueur or throw back a green Midori shot served in an ornament.

Open: Daily at 6 p.m. through Sunday, Dec. 31

Bonus: Upstairs is a Christmas speakeasy called Secret Santa’s — think of it as a pop-up within a pop-up. Decked out with mind-bending festive photo ops, this secondary bar will have a separate drink menu + operate the same hours as The Whirling Tiger Thursday-Saturday.

Sip on holiday variations of classic cocktails like the Fiesta-vus Margarita, Santa-gria, and Mojito-ho-ho in a tinsel-tastic atmosphere with DJs and games. Reservations are recommended.

Whiskey Wonderland
Down One Bourbon Bar, 321 W. Main St.

This downtown pub is wish-keying you a Merry Christmas. In addition to holiday bourbon drinks, you can spin a record at the Mr. Goodboy vinyl record player. Bonus: Don’t miss the ugly sweater party on Thursday, Dec. 21.

You can’t miss the wall of Christmas lights covering the facade of Number 15 on Main Street.

Angel’s Envy Enchanted Wonderland

Park your sleigh on Whiskey Row and head up to the Balcony Bar to warm up by the fire. Choose between four seasonal Angel’s Envy drinks to enjoy in the ambiance of glimmering trees and lights.

Frost
Frankfort Avenue Liquors & Wine, 2115 Frankfort Ave.

Holiday cheer is abound in this quaint pop-up packed with tinsel and ornaments in every nook. Try one of the dessert-themed cocktails like the Gingerbread Flip or Banana Bread Old Fashioned.

Open: Thursday-Saturday, 5-11 p.m. through December.

North Pole Beach Club
Nostalgic Cocktail House + Restaurant, 1306 Bardstown Rd.

Take Christmas on vacation with tropical drinks made to remind you of warmer weather. Each one is served in a festive glassware with fruity garnishes, like a grapefruit flower topped with a pink flamingo.

Open: Wednesday-Saturday, 4 p.m.-12 a.m. + Sundays, 4-10 p.m. through Monday, Dec. 25.
