Louisville was recently named one of the worst places to date in the country, a claim which honestly holds some water for us single Louisvillians. But the reason why? We don’t get enough concerts.

We’ll admit it, Derby City does get left off tour dates more than we’d like, but later this week, Forecastle Festival will rock the waterfront from Fri., May 27-Sun., May 29, where we’ll see some of the biggest names in music like Phoebe Bridgers, Tame Impala + Tyler, the Creator.

Not to mention later in the year we’ll have Bourbon & Beyond + Louder Than Life, two more music festivals headlined by musical heavy hitters like Chris Stapleton, Brandi Carlile, KISS, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

But we’re fired up now, so it’s the perfect time to tell you about five more big shows coming to The Ville this year that you won’t want to miss. Pro tip: Go ahead and buy your tickets, these shows are expected to sell out.
